The Roman Road

  • For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
  • For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
  • But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
  • If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. Romans 10:9
  • For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13

Okay, we finally got to see someone from physical therapy & she brought someone from occupational therapy. They did not have him stand but sat him on the edge of the bed for about 7 minutes. He was pretty light headed & felt like he couldn't breathe but they kept him there. He'll probably do better the next time. That was the first time in two & a half weeks he sat with feet on the floor. I guess we should expect him to be light headed.
They also gave us alot of exercises to work on at least 3X a day. Lifting & bending legs, knees & ankles & arms & elbows. The more we can do these, the better off he is.
Something else we weren't expecting is his pneumonia is worse instead of better. Not good but we'll keep him moving and that should help w/this also.
All of the staples from the orthopedic surgeries have been removed now. Most of the wounds look really good except for one. The wound on the right thigh is seeping (most likely from the fluids he's carrying) not from infection.
Now, once again you guys know what I know.
We're still waiting to see what the results of the chest xray from this morning are. I expect we'll see that doctor sometime today.
Thanks for praying
Suzi
